Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi peoples!
I am having a fabulous time here in Virginia.

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving! This year I am so grateful for so much.
Really I can't put it in one blog post.

I was nominated for the grateful blogger tag by like seven people, and I'm too lazy to go check who. I know for sure that Ella Louise, Meghan, and Polka Dot Bee awarded me. I can't remember who else.

So I'm doing those ten questions today.

*this is going to be a fairly loose version of the award but I really am happy I got it*

Okay. Ten things I'm grateful for.

1) Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. I can't put it into words how truly grateful I am to have them.
2) My church. My church is an amazing, wonderful, fabulous organization. I've met my very bestest friends through it, and I've learned so very much. I've felt great joy and been exceedingly humbled. I love it.
3) my family. Guys, my family is fabulous. My madre works so hard to help everyone, and my dad does so much for us in is work. My siblings are the best people pretty much ever. For example: today we went up in the Washington Monument. (it was amazing.) My six year old brother, looking out the window, said:

"Hey! I can totally see Russia from here!"

He totally could not see Russia from there, by the way. Anyway, my family is fabulous.
4) my friends. I have a great group of friends, both here and in real life. They're supportive, and patient, and kind, not to mention very nice about letting me borrow stuff. I love them alotalotalot. And then there's you guys. You're more than just followers. You're friends. You have been amazing on this whole adventure, and I wouldn't pick anyone else to go on it with me. (except maybe Taylor Swift or Rapunzel. but they're not exactly available.)
5) music. Music has been a huge part of my life, especially so since I joined band. It makes life more colorful, and I have absolutely learned tons.
6) living in the United States. I've always known that I was lucky to live here, but I've found, especially on this trip, exactly what our freedom cost. It's quite amazing, and I wouldn't live anywhere else.
7) THE TIME PERIOD I LIVE IN. Today we were at the Smithsonian and saw the first Apple computer ever. It is complicated looking. I'm SO happy I live in an age with smartphones, electric air mattress pumps, Google, AC, Pandora.....
8) travel. I've been on some fantastic trips in my lifetime. Colarado, Cozumel, D.C, NYC, Seattle, Florida. I'm so thankful for the people in my life that want me to have these experiences, and that I've been able to have them.
9) a house. I don't know about where you live, but Houston is not a delightful place to be homeless.
10) myself. I know. You're saying 'self centered much?' But I am so grateful that I get to live on this Earth and have this adventure of life.

Welp, if ya made it through my philophosocal answers, I am proud of you.

By the way, when I get back, I'm planning on posting my trip over on personal blog, so if you want to see what I've been up to this week, tune in probably Monday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. We normally don't go on vacation during Thanksgiving, normally we just travel during the summer. This year was an exception, I guess. Glad you had fun! Of course!
